Slim & Light Body
The VS-1 is only 23mm thick (at least 5mm thinner than competitors). It is truly “ultra-thin”. It has a simple & elegant design, and an abundance of functions with just a few buttons. Easily master shooting videos with the VS-1.
Universal Hot Shoe Mount
There is a universal hot shoe mount with a swiveling head, so you can check the videos from any angle in a 360° radius.
Supports a Wide Range of Signal Inputs
The VS-1's multiple input options include HDMI, YPbPr and AV (Audio / Video1 / Video2 ), and it supports most DSLRs and camcorders.
Multiple Shortcut Options
You can set different shortcuts to functions on the VS-1's directional pad. Shortcut options include: Volume, Brightness, Contrast, Check Field, Aspect Ratio, Zoom and Screen Marker. Setting shortcuts allow you to avoid entering the menu to use a function and saves shooting time.
Dual Power Supply System
The VS-1 can be powered in two ways: with an AC adapter or two lithium batteries (batteries not included). The two methods of power can also be used simultaneously so you can charge your batteries while using your monitor. Lithium batteries are commonly used (Sony F/FM/QM Series) and are easy to find and replace.
16:9, 4:3 and Full Aspect Ratios
The VS-1 can switch between three common display ratios: 16:9, 4:3 and Full Screen. By changing your display aspect ratio to your shooting aspect ratio, the VS-1 avoids any possible image distortion and makes for a more accurate monitor viewing experience.
Speaker and Stereo Headphone Output
In addition to broadcasting picture, the VS-1 is also equipped with an audio output so you can simultaneously monitor your audio input while watching your picture.
Sunshade Cover
A sunshade cover is provided to monitor in bright sunlight. It is made of suitable opaque material and keeps a nice shape in order to block strong light so you can see the monitor clearly.
Firmware Updates Via USB
Unlike other monitors, the VS-1 is constantly improving with firmware updates to improve its compatibility, performance and functions. Just plug in a flash drive with the newest firmware available on the Aputure website and update away!
