Introducing the new "MotoWheels", a motorized carriage which will take your photography to the next level and and have fun doing it, now you can finally have motorized wheels to move your dolly forwards or backwards with a selection of 3 speeds. Simply unscrew the nut on the rear wheels of your dolly, hook on motowheels, secure it, while still giving the ability to change the angle of rotation. Use the red button to turn it on and off and watch your dolly move on its own. Requires two AA batteries which are not included. The motorized carriage will also fit on the Komodo Dolly and Mini Skater Pro. Has textured rubber wheels for extra grip and 2 extra 1/4-20 threads so it can piggy back extra accessories like lights and microphone. Great for time lapse and adding motion to your videos or still shots.

To start movement there is a red on/off button, next there is a switch to select between forward or backward movement this gives the ability to either push or pull the dolly. Finally there is the speed switch with 3 speeds to choose from. A rough estimate of speeds are as follows, fitted with a pico dolly, 7 inch friction arm, shark clip and an iphone 4 which comes to a total weight of about 2lbs (as seen in one of our samples pictures):

S1 - 10 seconds per foot

S2 - 8 seconds per foot

S3 - 6 seconds per foot

The speed at which it can travel across 1 foot varies greatly upon how much weight is on the dolly, the heavier, the slower the movement. The harder the motowheels have to work to push something the quicker it will drain batteries too. It is recommended to use small cameras as this will offer greater flexibility. In one of the sample picture you can see the motowheels is pushing a Nikon d800 with a 24-70 lens on a 9lb ballhead fitted onto the Mini Skater pro, so essentially motowheels is pushing 6.1lbs! Anything more than 6lbs and the motowheels will struggle to move it.

Motowheels is simplistic in nature it simply turns on or off, there is no feature to pause movement for camera to take pictures so it's recommended you use a smooth and even surface to reduce bumpy movement when camera snaps the shot. Motowheels is completely independent and at no point does it offer controls to the camera. The speed selection is fixed in speed meaning you can not change the rate of speed of said selection.
